Cub Scout Pack 213

Spring has sprung, so it’s time to get those scouts outside! There are lots of opportunities coming up in the next few months for the whole family to get outdoors and do exciting adventures!

Leadership Updates

Sarah is now fully the Webelos Den Leader, and she’s doing fantastic. Great job, Sarah!

Sam is transiting to Assistant Cubmaster to continue to help our new pack grow with larger programming goals.

We need a volunteer to take over Treasurer ASAP. This is a critical role that helps ensure the pack continues to thrive. Stephen has enjoyed getting everything set-up, but needs to hand to role off very soon. He is happy to train and support anyone while they take on the role, so have no fear. Please contact Layla if you are interested.

Snack Attack

Time for our Council’s annual Spring fundraiser. The Pack is doing storefront sales at Coastal April 4th and 11th from 10 AM to 6 PM. We are doing two hour shifts. Scouts may sign-up for multiple time slots. Please sign-up at the Pack meeting or on Discord.

Bottle Drop Earth Week Give

Please hold on to your bottle drop bag until April 15th to 26th. Bottle Drop is going their annual Earth Week Give. They will match 20% bonus of all bottle donations. That’s 20% more money for our Pack!

Spring Camp-Out

All families are invited to join Pack 195 for a spring camp-out April 25th at Camp Clark on the Coast! Scouts will get the chance to work on vital scout skills, catch-up on any rank advancement, and get to spend time in the outdoors with the family! This also happens to fall on the same weekend of our District’s Cub Scout Super Weekend, right next door at Camp Meriwether. Please check out this link and read the options carefully.

Children’s Day Event

If your family cannot attend Spring Camp-Out or Super Weekend, we have another fun event you can attend. Latino’s in Action is hosting a Children’s Day Event on April 25th at Forest Grove High School from 11 AM to 2 PM.

The Pack reserved a vendor booth featuring a scout activity, selling meat sticks/candy —and most importantly recruiting new scouts! We really need families staying in town to please volunteer and represent our Pack. Please contact Layla if you are interested.
